A Senior Legislative Aide to the Senate President, who was represented by Alhaji Abdulrasheed Waziri has doled out 300 bags of rice and clothes to the people of Ekiti and Oke-Ero local governments.
Ten bags of rice each were donated to all the wards in Ekiti and Oke-Ero local governments ahead of the yuletide season.
Speaking separately at the event, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) party chairmen in Ekiti, Alhaji Ganiyu Adeshina and Oke Ero, Hon. Rotimi Owolabi of Oke Ero, appreciated the gesture by facilitated by AIM director even as they pledged their support for all PDP candidates from national level to the state House of Assembly. They also prayed for success of the party in the 2019 general elections.
Similarly, a prominent stakeholder in Ekiti local government from Opin ward, Alhaja Akanke Oyelowo applauded the donor and the National leader of the PDP and the Waziri Ngeri of Ilorin, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki for his steadfastness and leadership roles in the state and Nigeria at large.
According to her, the donation could not have been timely than now that the Christmas and New Year celebrations are around the corner.
She urged her people to continue to support the leader of Kwara politics, Dr Saraki who according to her has the interest of the masses at heart.
