KWCSDP intervenes in 104 rural communities – Ag.GM

The Kwara State Government has so far intervened in 104 rural communities in the implementation of their choice projects, since the Additional Financing (AD) under Kwara State Community and Social Development Project (KWCSDP).
The intervention became imperative in order to increase the access of the poor to social and infrastructural services to enhance better living for the people at the grassroots.
The Acting General Manager, Kwara State Community and Social Development Agency, Alhaji Yahaya Ahmed dropped this hint in statement released from his office, yesterday.
Ahmed said it was against this back drop that the agency has organised a project launch and cheque presentation ceremony for another set of 16 benefiting rural communities across the state, to commence the implementation of their choice projects, under CSDP.
The Acting General Manager stated further that Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed is expected to be the Special Guest of Honour and would also do the cheque presentation to the beneficiaries, 9am today (Thursday) at Kwara Hotel, Ilorin.
The statement signed by the Project Officer: Information, Education, Communication and Training of the agency, ‘Demola Olarewaju, added that the Commissioner for Planning and Economic Development, Alhaji Wasiu Odewale will be the Chief Host.
