Super Falcons forward Asisat Oshoala has been nominated for the Liga
Iberdrola Player of the Week award.
Oshoala ended her three-match drought as she struck twice in
Barcelonaโs 6-1 thrashing of champions Atletico Madrid last Saturday.
It is the second time she will be nominated for the award since her
arrival at Barcelona.
Her first came after she netted a brace that helped Barcelona to beat
Atletico Madrid 2-0 in March.
Barbara Banda, a Zambian who plays for Logrono is also nominated for
the individual prize.
Valencia star, Carol Fรฉrez is the third player who is in the running
for the award
The winner of the Primera Iberdrola League Player of the Week award
will be decided by fan votes.
