Banking halls of most of the banks visited by our reporter yesterday were filled to capacity while bank officials had hectic time attending to customers.
Cross section of bank officials who spoke on condition of anonymity attributed the development to the long break.
In addition, the Automated Teller Machines were crowded with customers trying to make cash withdrawals. Some frustrated customers complained bitterly over the non function of ATMs at some banks.
