Developer warns roadside traders against market congestion

The Developer in charge of Mandate Ultramodern Market, Mr. Emmanuel Abiodun Sidi has warned roadside traders against congesting the entrance of the market thereby stopping potential customers from patronizing shop owners inside the market.
He made the disclosure during an interview with Pilot Business in Ilorin at the weekend while revealing that they have concluding plans to make the market a world standard.
Sidi who is also the Managing Director of Ray field Construction Company stressed that market facilities was mismanaged by the pioneer contractor who failed to execute the fiscal plan of the market.
He attributed the recent boost of business activities to the leadership quality of the former governor of Kwara state now Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, whose passion and zeal for economic growth and development of Kwara State is indisputable.
The Developer extols market leaders and traders in the market for their peaceful coexistence and assured them of provision of basic amenities.
According to him the market started with 500 shops but increased to over 2000 shops including warehouses and mini shops and this have attracted investors within and outside the State.
Sidi explained further that the market has three phases and the construction of the third phase had almost reached completion stage.
On the cost of shops he stressed that the rent of shops is affordable as the lockup shops are being sold out at N850, 000 to potential buyers. Adding that buyers can pay the amount installment and in accordance with their capacities.
He also lauded the Kwara State Government initiative with proposed plans to make Amoyo an International market hub stressing that it will attract customers both locally and internationally
