KWAPHER-SD gets new executive

 

National Association for Physical, Health Education, Recreation, Sports and Dance (NAPHER-SD), Kwara State Chapter has sworn in the new interim executives that will run the affairs of the association in the next one year.
The inauguration was done last Thursday at the Indoor Sports of the Kwara State Stadium,  Ilorin.
The interim executive include Prof. Arimiyau .A Sanusi  (Unilorin) as the President, Mr. Tajudeen .O. Obalola (Sports Council), 1st Vice President, Dr. E. O Olafimihan (COED Oro) 2nd Vice President, Alhaji Mohammed Usman (SUBEB), Secretary General.
Others are Dr. Y. I. Ajiegbe (KWASU), Assistant General Secretary, Dr. Mrs. M, T Ajadi (Unilorin) Financial Secretary, Mrs. Mohammed Hawah (TESCOM) Treasurer, Mr. Ambali Abdulrasheed Onigbegiri (COED Ilorin) PRO l, and Mr. Musa Abdulfatah PRO ll.
Speaking before the inauguration, the former President, National Handball Federation of Nigeria, Alhaji Yusuf Dauda appealed to the new executive to run a vibrant office in order to move the association forward.
Earlier, the National Secretary General of NAPHER-SD, Dr. Abiodun Moronfolu challenged the new members to revive the association by paying their annual dues into the purse of the association.
Abiodun charged the new executive to work hard in order to move the association to greater heights.
Also, the Director of Sports, Kwara State Sports Council, Coach Tunde Kazeem pledged his Council’s support to the association, as he donated the sum of N20,000 to the association.
Among the dignitaries at the inauguration are the General Manager of Radio Kwara, Abdulateef Adebowale Adedeji, Mrs. Bola Esan, Professor Abimbola Adesoye and Professor Emmanuel Ogunsakin.
