Provost College of Nursing, Oke-Ode bows out of service
The Provost of Kwara State College of Nursing Oke- Ode, Elder Luke Omotayo Molomo ย has bowed out of active public service. He retired after 35 years of service.
A special ceremony was organised by the family to celebrate his retirement and 60th birthday anniversary on Tuesday October 1st, 2019 with church thanksgiving service at ECWA Cathedral Church, Oke-Ode in Ifelodun ย LGA, Kwara State.
In his sermon, Revd.Samuel Olusegun Adedayo of ECWA church Olorunsogo Upper Gaa-Akanbi, described ย Molomo as a man who devoted his life to community and humanity service.
The minister charged the retiree ย to continue to render services to his community and redouble his efforts at serving God, saying โitโs not finished, until it is finishedโ.
In his remarks, the celebrant appreciated God for His grace upon his life.
โ35years of service, 60 years Birthday, I thank God for everything.ย I thank God that throughout my stay as Provost, there was no death of any staff or student, no accident, no trouble whatsoever, God was in charge all through.”
He advised his student to be committed to their studies, so that they can excel in life; he prayed for his staff and colleagues still in public service that they will have a safe landing and ย enjoy the fruit of their labour.
A reception was held at ECWA primary school football field, Oke-Ode where ecomiums were showered on the celebrants by family, friends and colleagues.
His Royal Highness, Alhaji Abdulkadri Adelodun, Elesha of Oke Ode, described, โElder Luke Omotayo Molomo as a shining star, an accomplished nursing administrator, an illustrious son of Oke Ode, Kwara South entirely who has made not only his town proud, the entire state and the nation at largeโ.
The Bursar of the College, Alhaji Mohammed Baba Ibrahim, FCA, described the retired Provost, Elder Luke Omotayo Molomo as a God sent administrator, a father, lover of God, a workaholic, trusted and a very good team player.
He prayed that Almighty God will grant him continued good health, long life, more successes coated with Godโs love as he bows out of public service after 35years of active to his community, humanity and the state at large.
