A man has been reportedly killed in a brutal accident, where 10 others sustained serious injuries.
The incident was said to have occurred on Saturday around 7:45 pm on that fateful day.
It was gathered that five minutes after the incident in Lumah Village along Oloru- Shao axis, a call was put through to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Oloru Unit to rescue the victims.
National Pilot learnt that, the accident involved two vehicles a Volkswagen Sharon bus with the registration number KEY875ZF and a DAF trailer with the registration number Y-8326LA.
Confirming the incident, the sector commander of Kwara FRSC Command in Airport Area, Jonathan Owoade, said that, the victims involved are eleven in number, seven male adult and three female adult were seriously injured while one died in the process.
โThe injured ones have been taken to Bertholem Clinic Akanbi in Ilorin while the corpse have been taken to UITH Ilorin.โ
Jonathan said the causes of the accident in over-speeding, he however warned drivers to be cautioned while driving.
