The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Afon has noted that provision of infrastructure and appointment will develop constituencies in the state just as it lauded the Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki’s efforts at providing dividends of democracy.
The forum in a communiqué signed by its chairman and Secretary, Alhaji Sa’adu Ajelanwa and Architect Lamidi Akanbi respectively issued at the end of an emergency meeting held in Afon, Asa Local Government, Wednesday but made available to National Pilot on Sunday noted that inspection by Saraki on some of the constituency road projects going on in the area has quickened their completion.
It specifically appreciated Saraki for facilitating the re-construction of Afon-Aboto Oja -Odoodo-Oyo state boundary road and Afon Junction-Sapati-Ile-Abayawo road which are nearing completion.
The Forum noted with delight the inspection of work carried out on the roads by the Senate President which would enhance the socio-economic development of the area when completed.
On the recent federal appointment and employment, APC appreciated President Muhammadu Buhari and for considering Dr. M.B Yahaya and Hon. Isiaka Mogaji worthy of appointment into his government and other indigenes of Asa facilitated through Saraki with the support of Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed
The meeting was attended by other key stakeholders in Asa including the Council Chairman, Hajia Risikat Opakunle among others.
