Appointment: Saraki give out letters to 156 legislative aides

Assistant Legislative Aides (ALAs) appointed by Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki have been presented their letters of appointment at the constituency office in Ilorin on Tuesday.
This is coming just as a pioneer Professor of Veterinary Medicine from Ilorin Emirate, Saka Nuru, has heaped eulogies on Saraki for providing succour and visionary leadership in the country.
The letter of appointment was in fulfillment of the promise made by Saraki to bring more dividends of democracy close to the grassroots.
The beneficiaries were made up of three persons from the 52 wards across the Kwara central senatorial District.
Presenting the letters, the Special Assistant on Legislative Aides to the Senate President, Alhaji Biodun Baraje disclosed that Saraki strongly believes governance is an integral part of the grassroots and called on them to identify areas of interventions and spread the message of hope that the Saraki brand is associated with.
Meanwhile, a pioneer Professor of Veterinary Medicine from Ilorin, Saka Nuru, has praised the President of the Senate, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, for providing visionary leadership in the country.
Nuru said Saraki has demonstrated to every native of Ilorin that he is a worthy ambassador of the Emirate, who leads by example in his undertakings.
Professor Nuru stated this at the Empowerment Programme organised by the Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA) held at the Forecourt of the Palace of the Emir of Ilorin at the weekend.
Saraki, at the ceremony, donated the sum of N5million for the growth and development of IEDPU and was applauded for initiating different empowerment schemes for the benefit of the Emirate.
He urged other office holders and well meaning individuals from the Ilorin Emirate to emulate Saraki, who he noted, has been puttingย smiles on the faces of the masses.
