The newly sworn in Secretary of Patigi Local Government and Supervisory Councilors had been charged to serve with integrity, devotion, loyalty and accountability in order to improve governance in the area.
This was disclosed by the Patigi local government chairman Hon Jibril Salihu Gabi during the swearing-in ceremony of the newly appointed officials held at the council secretariat.
According to him” Ordinarily, the officials should come out with ideas and a new drive to make the difference adding that they should support various policies and programmes of the present administrant to consolidate the legacies of Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki.
Responding on their behalf, the new council secretary, Mr. Emmanuel Landu thanked the chairman and party leadership for finding them worthy to serve and promised they will live up to expectation and justify the confidence reposed on them.
Earlier, the Etsu Patigi, Alhaji Ibrahim Chatta Umar congratulated the new executive and lauded the foresight of the party in the selection process.
He assured that his fatherly support and advice will be available at all times.
The supervisory councilors are Hon Usman Adamu Yakubu, Agriculture and National Research, Hon Idris Nnamasa Aminat, Health and Social Services, Hon Alfa Musa Ellah, Works, Land and Housing, Hon Umar Madiu Abubakar, Education and Hon Mohammed Mazhi Finance.
