Shehu Abdullahi and Leon Balogun will be assessed ahead of the Super Eagles friendly against Serbia in London on Tuesday.
This was revealed by media officer of the Super Eagles Toyin Ibitoye on Brila FM on Sunday from London.
Both Abdullahi and Balogun were replaced by Tyronne Ebuehi and Kenneth Omeruo against Poland on Friday with suspected knocks.
โThe Super Eagles trained today (Sunday) and will train 6:30pm tomorrow (Monday),โ Ibitoye said.
โShehu and Balogun will be assessed before the game against Serbia. Currently, we have 27 players in camp getting set for Serbia.โ
He disclosed that despite Mikel Obi not being in camp, the captain backs his teammates.
โIt is sad Mikel is not in camp but he is always in touch with his teammates. He communicates with them and encourages them.โ
And ahead of the game against Serbia, Ibitoye promised a better performance from the team.
