A customer of Ecobank caused drama at the Challenge branch, Ilorin, Kwara State on Tuesday as he rained invectives on the security personnel on duty.
His grouse was that he was not allowed into the bank premises for being six minutes behind time.
He arrived the bank at 4:06pm when the doors had already been closed to customers. His pleas to be let into the bank to carry out transaction fell on deaf ears.
Out of frustration, he began to rain curses on the security personnel, which attracted staffers of the bank.
Reprieve, however, came his way when a senior official ordered that himself and others at the gate should be allowed into the bank.
Meanwhile, carstomers of Access Bank in Ilorin, Kwara State, were stranded yesterday as they could not make cash withdrawal through the Automated Teller Machine (ATM).
It was gathered that the problem was as a result of poor network. A development, which left many customers of the bank frustrated.
The victim pleaded tirelessly but the security personnel boldly told him that he doesn’t have the authority to allow him as the entrance doors into the Banking hall were already locked.
Out of frustration the customer insulted the security man and this which attracted the staffers of the bank who intervened. One of the Bank staff came out and immediately directed the security personnel to allow him and few others standing at the gate inside the bank
