C&S group celebrates 50th anniversary
The General Leader and Chairman, Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, District Headquarters, Surulere, Lagos, Special Apostle Prophet Sunday Korode has called on Christians to be holy and be of sterling qualities to win souls for the Kingdom.
Prophet Korode made the call in his sermon delivered at the 50th anniversary of Fogo Olorunhan Band, Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Ilorin District Headquarters.
In a message themed “His free and immense mercy on us” Prophet Korode urged Christians to always give thanks no matter the circumstances.
The Cleric called on them to desist from sin to fully enjoy God mercy.
He implored Christians to have strong faith and worship God wholeheartedly.
Speaking on the theme “The Dry Shall Live Again”, Reverend Kelechi Odii of the
Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, City of Grace Congregation Obbo Road Ilorin prayed that peace would continue to reign supreme in the Country and that there would be positive change.
Reverend Odii called on the people to play greater role in the development of the Nation.
Pastor Taiye Aransiola of United Evangelical Miracle Church, Off Yidi Road Ilorin speaking on the Topic- “The End-Time is Here” explained that all signs concerning the end-times are happening imploring believers to be steadfast; be holy, and separate from sin.
Pastor Aransiola charged Christians to be committed to the word of God, be prayerful, win souls and be ready for the second coming of Jesus Christ.
Pastor Aremu Abioye of the Ark of God Covenant Faith Bible Ministry, Amayo emphasised the need for Christians to seek first the kingdom of God as the second coming of Jesus Christ is fast approaching.
Speaking at the on-going Revival programme with the theme “fear not, l am with you”. Prophetesses Cecilia lbrahim of the Olorun lsadi C & S Church, Gaa-lmam implored faithfuls to have faith in God as the only one to rely upon.
In preparation for a midyear revival service with the theme “power as of old” Prophet Peter Kolawole Williams of C A C. Faith Chapel along Asa-dam, ilorin spoke extensively on God that changeth not as He remain the same forever.
The District Minister in charge of Kwara and Kogi States of the Gospel Apostolic Church, off Offa garage road, Ilorin, Pastor Kehinde lkupolati urged Chrstians to always pray for their leaders for divine direction.
