Arrangements are in top gear by the Kwara State Volleyball Association to organise an extensive clinic for its referees and course for its Coaches ahead of the Youth Games billed for September in Ilorin the State Capital.
Briefing members of the association at the conference room of the Kwara State Sports Council, the first Vice Chairman of the Association, Mallam Bola Yusuf noted that the proposed workshops will hold in August and is expected to draw participants from schools, Local Government councils and churches where Volleyball is being played to refresh and update them on the rudiments of the game.
Yusuf stressed that the date for the two events would be announced as soon the technical and marketing committees conclude preparations towards aย hitchย freeย exercise.
Similarly, the annual Ramadan 4 A-side Volleyball Competition has been fixed for 29th May to 3rd of June at the Kwara State Stadium Complex, according to Coach Wale Badamosi.
