Alalade who noted that the State Executive Council had last November approved the rehabilitation of the Indoor Sports Hall said paucity of fund was delaying the commencement of the project.
He assured the Sports loving people of the state that the financial challenges would soon be addressed for its rehabilitation.
“I want to assure you that the financial challenges delaying the rehabilitation of the Indoor Sports Hall are currently being addressed. The contractor will soon be mobilised,” the Commissioner said.
On the collapsed Stadium Perimeter fencing, the Sports Commissioner disclosed that the government had approved contract for the fencing of stadium and the contractor would soon move to the site.
On Kwara Football Academy, the Commissioner said the state is collaborating with the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the Education Trust Fund (ETF) for the upgrade of KFA infrastructure and promises to prioritize the welfare of its staff.
