Celebrated businessman charges FG, security agents on peace 

 

A successful businessman and Odenigbo Ukpor of Anambra State, Chief Tony Ezeani has called on the Federal Government and security operatives to put in more efforts to restore peace in the country.
Similarly, he enjoined the FG to be more proactive in improving the economy and the business environment in order to reduce the hardship the masses are presently going through.
Chief Ezeani made these known at the weekend in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital when he paid a condolence visit to Alhaji Abubakar Kawu Baraje at his GRA residence following the passing on of his mother, Alhaja Aishat Abake Omoagba Baraje.
The business magnate observed that when the issue of insecurity and other challenges are well addressed, foreign investors and even indigenous entrepreneurs will boost the nation’s economy thereby reducing the rate of unemployment, particularly among the youth.
He noted that as Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and later acting chairman, Alhaji Baraje contributed immensely to the development of the party and the country at large.
Chief Ezeani described the departed mother of Alhaji Baraje as a kind hearted and religious parent who took care of everybody without discrimination.
In his response, Alhaji Baraje appreciated the businessman for the visit adding that he is a detribalised Nigerian who has contributed immensely to the transport sector and the nation’s economy.
In a related development, the Chairman of the Reformed All Progressives Congress (R-APC), Alhaji Buba Galadima, who was represented by Alhaji Adeleke Taofeek, condoled Alhaji Baraje over the sad incident and prayed  Allah to grant her Aljanah Firdaus.
