Desire God’s knowledge to protect Islam

An Ilorin based Islamic cleric, Imam Ustaz AbdulRasheed has charged Muslim faithful to desire God’s knowledge in order to be able to protect Islamic religion.
The cleric noted this while speaking during a Juma’at service last Friday at Sultanat Mosque, Adewole area in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
He further tasked Muslims to imbibe the act of good deeds as Almighty Allah instructed.
According to him, Muslims should engage in doing Ibadah (good service) to Allah by helping those who are in need adding that such act is rewarding.
“There are several good deeds Muslims can do that will attract Allah’s blessings. We must always have the fear of Allah in our heart; this will make us to do what’s worthy, upright and just to everyone in the society.
“Allah loves those who give alms from their hearts and those who make use of their body to practice five daily prayers,” the Imam stressed.
He also charged Muslims to be ambassador of Allah in their chosen professions.
The cleric said, “emulate Prophet Muhammed (SAW) in all your ways and also apply knowledge and wisdom of Allah to fight for Islam. He also urged them to also make use of this Ramadan season to seek for forgiveness from Almighty Allah.
