It’s no longer news that popular Nigerian singers Adekunle Gold and Simi are in a relationship though both stars are often cagey about their affairs.
In fact, Adekunle Gold in a recent interview that the singer is his ‘bae’, while also explaining why he trusts her with his music.
In the interview, he revealed that Simi is a better songwriter than him. “Simi is a better songwriter than me I say it everywhere. She’s been doing this for the longest time. Before his album, for every song that I wrote, I would share with her. I’d ask her to help me check the rhythm, bounce and other things. She corrects me where necessary. For every song that Simi says its okay, I feel good because she is the one person I can run to musically.”
However, while commenting on a recent photo of Simi, the popular musician jokingly asked her mum how much her bride price is again. Not one to spoil the fun, Simi’s mum revealed that the dowry to be paid is just N10 million. She then added that she will receive the rest after the first set of twins. Simi just used a tongue out emoji to react to the situation.
