Turkish Super Lig club Sivasspor have announced striker Leke James has fractured a part of his spine, while fellow Nigeria striker Olarenwaju is suspended for this weekend’s clash against Fenerbache.
Sivasspor announced on their official website that a fracture was discovered in the low lumbar spine of 28-year-old Leke James after he had complained of back pain.
The club further said the situation will be reviewed on a weekly basis.
Leke James joined Sivasspor this summer from Saudi Arabia.
He has already scored twice in the UEFA Conference League.
In the meantime, Kayode has also been ruled out of Sunday’s league game at Fenerbache after he was sent off in the team’s last league game at Goztepe before the international break.
