The Kwara State chapter of the National Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) has inaugurated a 4-man electoral committee.
This was contained in a statement issued and signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the association, Binta Abubakar Mora and Ayobola Olupinla, respectively.
According to the statement, the committee is headed by Hajia Silifat Jumoke Adeyemi of Radio Kwara while the Secretary is Hajia Sikirat Shehu of the Business Day Newspaper (Correspondent Chapel).
Other members of the committee are; Hajia Bilikis Oladimeji of Federal Information and Mrs Bola Sidiq of the state Information Chapel.
The statement added that, “The committee is saddled with the responsibility to sell forms, screen aspirants, certification and other requirements as stipulated by the electoral law.
