U-20 WWC: Falconets face Spain in Q/final today

The Falconets of Nigeria will take on Spain today, Thursday by 4PM Nigerian time in the on-ongoing 2018 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, with the winners to feature in the semi-final against France or Japan.
The Europeans, Spain will be hoping to continue the fine form shown in a tough Group C and the Africans will be banking on their greater experience at the tournament.
Falconets have stated their readiness for the clash.
The Falconets players are talking tough ahead of the quarter-final clash against Spain.
Falconets star Peace Efih has stated that she and her teammates will be ready against Spain when both sides meet in the quarterfinal.
The Falconets were defeated in their opener against Germany; beat Haiti 1-0 in their second group fixture.
Chinese right back Jiaxing Dou scored a late own goal as the Falconets picked up a point in their last group encounter to set up a quarterfinal fixture against Spain who finished top of the group C.

Efih, however, is optimistic that the Falconets have turned a corner and will be ready for their European counterparts.
Speaking about the last group encounter Efih praised the efforts of her teammates for believing until their last-minute goal in an interview with FIFA.
Meanwhile, the hosts will look to take revenge for their defeat in the 2016 final against the defending champions Korea DPR, who only secured a berth in the last eight after a rollercoaster ride through Group B.
