Emir of Ilorin, Dr Ibrahim Sulu Gambari has been commended on the prevailing peace in Ilorin emirate and Kwara State at large.
The Ojuekun family in Ojuekun area of Ilorin West Local Government Area and Alapa in Asa Local Government Area of the state made the commendation in a statement by the Mogaji of Ojuekun, Alhaji Saadu Ayinde.
According to the statement, Dr Sulu Gambari, as the Chairman of the traditional council has through his good leadership quality ensured peace and harmony in Ilorin emirate and the state at large.
The family pledged their unalloyed loyalty to the Alimi dynasty in its policy and programme towards the unity of its subjects.
The family declared that it had at no time been rebellious to the Alimi dynasty and will never be against the throne even as they prayed for long live and prosperity for the Emir.
