Unilorin Warriors are now on their way to Sokoto to play UDU Sultans in the Higher Institution Football League (HIFL) quarterfinal match.
The ‘Better By Far’ Team had been eliminated from the League following their 4-5 penalty loss to ABU Nobles.
Unilorin Warriors has now been reinstated in the League after the Technical Review Committee discovered that ABU Nobles fielded an ineligible player for the return leg in Zaria.
The team will play UDU Sultans of UsmanuDanfodiyo University Sokoto tomorrow by 4pm.
Captain of the Warriors, MonsuruAkorede in a chat with UNILORIN FM, disclosed that the Team was l’ready to play for passion and make UNILORIN and their families proud.
He also assured that there is no form of distraction among the players.
