A renowned Katsina based female pastor; Grace Aji has dumped Christianity for Islam and has now changed her name to Hauwa’u.
While speaking recently at the graduation ceremony of 2011-2017 trainees of Hindatu Abdullahi multipurpose women centre in Katsina, Hau’wau expressed gratitude to Allah for guiding her to the path of Islam.
“My sisters in Islam, I will like to thank Almighty Allah for guiding me to true religion, Islam. I pray may God almighty guide us all.
“Allah knows what is inside our hearts as such I don’t know whether you are a convert or a Muslim before but whatever it is we must love our self as Muslims no matter the background, the culture we belong.
“The new convert just like me are out there facing trouble with families and friends, but it is only Almighty Allah that will help them.
She called on Muslims to embrace new converts with a good heart just as Allah revealed in the Holy Qur’an.
Revealing the reason she dumped Christianity, Hauwau said she find peace in Islam which is the true religion of peace and equity from Almighty Allah.
