Invited NPFL players must look beyond Liberia friendly – Obuh

The former Kwara United coach said even if Tuesday’s friendly does not bring forth the opportunities, the local stars must do well to hang in there
Away from their invites for Nigeria friendly tie against Liberia, the quartet of MfonUdoh, EbubeDuru, Sunday Adetunji and Olamilekan Adeleye must do well to remain in Gernot Rohr’s plan to pounce on opportunities when they eventually arrive, says John Obuh.
Enyimba strikers Udoh and Adetunji, Lobi Stars left-back Duru and centre-back Adeleye will join IkechuwkuEzenwa and 20 foreign-based players for the trip to Monrovia where they take on the Lone Stars in Tuesday’s clash
And the former Kwara United coach, unfazed about whether they get played by Rohr in the tune-up encounter, advises the Nigeria Professional Football League players to continue to work hard to get called up on a consistent basis.
