Former Minister of Finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun, who resigned her appointment on Friday, left the country Saturday for the United Kingdom.
The erstwhile minister resigned following allegation of a forged NYSC certificate. Her resignation was accepted by President Muhammadu Buhari, who has approved that the Minister of State Budget and National Planning, Mrs Zainab Ahmed, should oversee the Ministry of Finance.
It was gathered that Adeosun left the country via British Airways Saturday.
It is not immediately clear where she may have travelled to but with a BA flight, her immediate destination will be London before transiting to any other destination.
It was revealed that when her Nigerian line was called several times Saturday night, it rang through each time in the Europe internal phone ringing effect.
It also quoted that Telecoms experts who also dialled her number at its instance yesterday evening said the telephone certainly did not ring in Nigeria.
