Peugeot unveils self-driving car

With its 456 HP electric power train, the Peugeot e-Legend can reach a top speed of 137 mph.
Peugeot has just unveiled its plan for a self-driving car which gets power all from electricity. It is the Peugeot e-Legend that breathes the air of models in the 1960s.
The Paris Motor Show next month will be the showing stage of the new concept. This marks a milestone of 50 years since the launch of the Peugeot 504 coupe.

The all-electric model will be built with an i-Cockpit system which is retractable into the dashboard to provide more space (like the all-electric BMW iNext’s steering wheel).
With its 456 HP electric powertrain, the car can reach a top speed of 137 mph while being able to accelerate from rest to 62 mph in no more than 4 seconds.
The car provides a driving range of over 370 miles thanks to the 100kWh battery pack.
It is home to plenty of futuristic features. One of them is the wireless charger packed in a special mat, making the electric charging easier than ever.
