As Nigeria marks her 58th Independence Anniversary celebration, the Nigerian Youth Decide will today hold a mega rally in Ilorin.
The group in a statement jointly signed by its state Coordinator, Comrade Daniel Ayantoye and Secretary, Patience Odife said the rally was to stop money induced politics in the country.
โIn line with the directive from our National headquarters, the Nigeria Youth Decide like other states will be holding an Independence Day Youth Mega Rally.
โIt is worthy of note that this year Independence Day Celebration to be held before the next general elections in the country. Hence, the gathering is to remind all youths, stakeholder and the general public of the need to respect the effort of our falling heroes who fought to secure this Independence by defending our democracy from destruction.
โThis is a peaceful walk to sensitise the public especially the politicians not to engage in money inducing politics I.e vote buying and selling as well as bribery and corruption which is part to destroying our future in the forth coming general election.โThe group added that the rally will sensitise the public to engage in peaceful conduct before, during and after the 2019 general elections.ย
