Nollywood Funke Adesiyan is a popular Nollywood actress renowned for her roles in several Yoruba movies.
Only recently, she has once again showed her active interest in politics by contesting for a political post in Oyo state. As gathered, she is vying for a seat in Oyo state House of Assembly in the election coming up in 2019.
The publicity visual which she posted on her Instagram page revealed she was campaigning on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
However, the beautiful lady still had to cross the hurdle of the APC primary election which held recently. After the primaries, Funke took to her Instagram page to announce that she has successfully gone past this barrier.
According to her, she won the primary election of a particular local government in Oyo state called Ibadan South East 2. While she had 207 votes, her opponent had 32 votes.
