Opinion : Hello Ibrahim, Keep that you stinky mouth shut when elders are talking.

Without any Intro; May I quickly tell you the hubris and transient of power?.

Ibrahim, have you forgotten the ephemeral nature of political positions? Stop behaving with arrogance that makes you sound like a “Digbolugi” dog. Stop trampling on people’s respect without regard for the future. Where is the Almighty Femi Adeshina and Bashir Ahmad today? today’s power is tomorrow’s memory, and one’s actions in power will echo long after the title fades.

Now, Let me start by Addressing the elephant in the room, Dr. Bukola Saraki. See his legacies in Kwara State is undeniable. Even you Ibrahim, benefited from the infrastructure and developmental projects during Saraki’s tenure. To deny this is to ignore historical facts. While your Destructive Governor Abdulrazaq’s administration, on the other hand, is what we all know as failure and irritation, not just among Kwarans but across Nigeria.

Your public tantrums against Dr. Saraki are particularly laughable. One must question the audacity to critique a leader whose developmental footprints are still evident while your own administration struggles to mark its ground beyond petty vendettas.

Your claims against Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki are grave misunderstanding and perhaps a deliberate misrepresentation at play when you speak of lies and failure in the same breath as Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq squandered 1.4bn on Transport, 698m on fuel and lubricant in 2023 within 9months according to fiji’s report. Also your Paymaster spent almost 800m naira on travelings in the 1Q of 2024, yet he wasn’t able to attract any investor. Turning to Dr. Bukola Saraki, his contributions to Kwara State and Nigeria at large cannot be so easily dismissed by your ill-mannered approach. Here is a leader whose tenure as governor brought notable developments in agriculture, education, and health sectors. Have you forgotten the Aviation college which your paymaster is celebrating today, which is also a pioneering venture.? Have you also forgotten the establishment of Kwara State University which provided not just an institution for learning but also a hub for research and community development.? Ibrahim, let me remind you of his strides in healthcare, the renovation and equipping of hospitals, improved healthcare delivery in the state. Always remember that his leadership in the Senate also positioned Kwara to the world map

To say Saraki’s era was defined by impunity ignores these tangible improvements in the lives of Kwarans. While no administration is without its flaws, the overall impact of Saraki’s governance was one of advancement and modernization of Kwara that Earned him “Architect of Modern kwara.” Which also earned your Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq “Architect of Destruction”

However, the narrative of “Impunity FC” is more of a rhetorical flourish intended to tarnish rather than the factual legacies of leadership. If there were indeed instances of impunity, democratic systems provide avenues for accountability not the Cho Cho Cho you’re doing. Using this as a blanket term for an entire political legacy reductive and misleading as the public memory is often longer and more nuanced than what your political adversaries portrayed. Kwarans remember not just the controversies but also the progress, the engagements, and the development projects that have had lasting impacts that you also benefited from.

For the fact that your government is unable to point to a single significant project in five years speaks volumes. It’s not just about tearing down; it’s about building, about leaving a legacy that future generations can appreciate like that of Dr Bukola Saraki.

Before I drop this pen, Ibahim, there’s a certain decorum expected from you, calling Abdul Abdul “silly,” not only lack respect but also common sense. “Gbo’un ni ebu agbalagba” – at least act with wisdom and dignity your position demands.

Lastly, Ibrahim, and by extension, the Abdulrazaq administration, you people should reflect on the approach. Kwara State deserves leaders who build, not destroy, who uplift, not suppress. change your attitude, from arrogance to reasonability, and from destruction to development.
