Kwara Assembly dedicates plenary to late lawmaker, Funke Adedoyin

The Kwara House of Assembly on Tuesday dedicated its plenary session to mourn the late member of the House of Representatives, Funke Adedoyin, who died late last month.
The motion for the dedication of the plenary to the deceased was moved by the House leader, Hassan Oyeleke, with the support of all members.
The late Adedoyin until her death represented lfelodun/lrepodun/Ekiti/Oke-
The House leader while paying tribute to the lawmaker described her as, โhumane and lover of peace and unity, who touched lives of several people positively.โ
The Speaker of the Assembly, Dr Ali Ahmad and other members, who made flashback to activities of the deceased during her lifetime, prayed God to grant the departed soul eternal rest and give her family the fortitude to bear the loss.
Ahmad later announced the suspension of all activities of the House as a sign of honour for Adedoyin.
Earlier, Dr Ahmad while addressing the plenary which resumed after a break for the conduct of primaries, urged members to be more alive to their primary responsibility.
โSince the primaries are now over, honourable members should endeavour to deliver democracy dividends to the good people of Kwara,โ Ahmad said
