Politicians urged to seek direction from God

Politicians have been charged to seek the face of God for direction as regards their ambitions.
Prophet Peter Kolawole Williams of the C A C Faith Chapel along Asa- Dam road, Ilorin, Kwara State reminded politicians that it is God who gives power.
In his sermon on Sunday, the cleric urged Nigerians to pray for their leaders so that they can do what is right towards making the nation great again.
However, a Cleric, Pastor Funsho Abiodun has called on Christians to always give thanks in all circumstances.
Pastor Abiodun made the call yesterday in his sermon delivered at the 51st anniversary of King David Band of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Ilorin District Headquarters.
Speaking on the theme “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving”, the cleric implored believers to show to God always appreciation in order to receive abundantly from Him.
He also urged the people to desist from sin and worship God wholeheartedly, calling on Nigerians to always work for the progress of the nation.
Similarly, Nigerians have again been urged to always pray for peace to reign in the country.
Pastor Segun James of the Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Imole , Amoyo in his sermon called on the people to always pray for the continued existence of the country.
Pastor Taiye Aransiola of the United Evangelical Miracle Church, Off Yidi Road, Ilorin who spoke on the topic “The power of faith,” described faith as the medium believers need to connect to mercy, grace, power and the favour of God.
Pastor Aransiola has implored Christians to have faith in God and rely on His power to turn hopeless situations around.
In his message themed “l will not let thee go except thou bless me”, Prophet Peter Oladipo of the C & S Movement Church lpetu-lgbomina emphasised the need for Christians to abide strictly with the commandment of God.
Also, Pastor Aremu Abioye of the Ark of God Covenant Faith Bible Ministry, Amoyo while speaking at the on-going 50 day fasting and prayer with the theme “l will recover all” admonished Christians to rely on God, saying He is able to do all things.
Pastor ldowu Constain of the New Life Holy Trinity Chapel Gaa-Akanbi, Ilorin enjoined Nigerians to eschew any act that could hamper the progress of their communities and the nation in general and exhibit high sense of maturity at all times.
The Primate of the Resolution Church of Christ, National Headquarters, Coca Cola road, Ilorin, Dr Martins Olobatoke charged Nigerians to look unto God for way out on the recent challenges facing the country.
