Abdulrazaq sacks DG Bureau of Lands, Salman

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has approved the sack of the Director General of the Bureau of Lands, Alhaji Ibrahim Salman.
His replacement, Barrister Bolaji Edun was announced on Tuesday by the government.
According to Salman’s profile on linkedin visited this morning, Salman was once the Deputy Director General of the Bureau from June 2011 to November 2015 before his elevation to the DG until his sack in 2020.
He attended Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto for his post graduate diploma in 1995 and had his Masters in Business Administration from Adekunle Ajasin University in 2001.
However, it was gathered his sack witnessed a touched of drama as a top cabinet member of the present administration (name withheld) reportedly stormed his office with his replacement without any prior knowledge and compelled him to hand over to the new person.
Salman, it was gathered, was visibly jolted over the action and visibly quivered.
He did not respond to call from this reporter to speak more on the issue.
His last pronounced assignment as the DG was the statement he issued on behalf of the government over the controversy surrounding Ile Arugbo.
