Olugana of Ganmo, 6 others to receive letters of appointment, today

No fewer than seven traditional rulers in Kwara State will receive their letters of appointment today from the state government.
The traditional rulers will receive their appointment letter at the ministry of local government and chieftaincy affairs.
Those involved are two third class traditional rulers and five fourth class traditional rulers.
According to a source who confided in this medium last night on the issue, โAlthough, the stools are existing ones, the tradition rulers have now been appointed after going through the normal process from the king makers, to the local government, state traditional council, to the ministry and governor who approved itโ, the source noted.
The affected stools are from Ifelodun, Ekiti, Isin and Oyun. Four from Ifelodun, one from Ekiti, one from Isin and one from Oyun and they the Eleku of Odo-Eku in Isin, Oninaja of Inaja of Alaro in Oyun, Asaoro of Alasaro in Ifelodun, Oloke of Oke-Opin in Ekiti and Oluganna of Ganmo in Ifelodun among two others which could not be ascertained last night.
Efforts to contact the commissioner of the local government and chieftaincy affairs, Aliyu Saifudeen on the development was not succueful and his number was switched off. Text message sent to his phone was yet to be replied at the time of filing this report.
