Deaconess Ahmed stated this on Saturday at Roemichs Hall during a programme organised by Daughters of Deborah International Ministry tagged: “Women For Such a Time As This”.
Mrs Ahmed who was represented by the Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on Women Affairs, Dr. Mrs. Abiola Adimula urged women to train their children in the way of the Lord and to contribute their quota in fighting corruption and nation building.
She said, Nigerian women should build a ‘prayer altar’ for all sectors so that the Church of God and the nation can have peace.
In her remarks, the Guest Speaker, Pastor (Mrs) Bridget Kolade said that women are ‘Palace Pillars’ that will uphold the family and the nation.
She added that for women to be able to face the challenges of this time, they should have compassion, be courageous and caring.
