6 chartered aircraft land in Ilorin

No fewer than six chartered aircrafts, yesterday, landed at the Ilorin International Airport with dignitaries for the North Central campaign flag off of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Leading the chartered flights to Ilorin was the party presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and his team who were warmly received by mammoth crowd of party supporters and admirers who gathered at the airport as early at 8:00am.
Motorists and other road users had a hectic challenge along the Ilorin-Ogbomoso road as PDP youths and women supporters lined up at both sides of the road drumming and dancing.
The first chartered flight with number 5N- DAL landed at the airport exactly 10:43am with Senator Ben Bruce and former governor of Ogun State, Gbenga Daniel onboard.
The second chartered airline Azman landed 10:57am with Senator Philip Aduda, former spokesman to President Goodluck Jonathan, Dr. Doyin Okupe, former Kogi state governor, Alhaji Idris Wada, Ahmadu Ali and PDP National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbodiyan onboard.
The third flight arrived the airport at 11:14 N550JF with the Vice Presidential candidate, Dr. Peter Obi, former Niger State governor, Babangida Aliyu, former minister of Youths, Boni Haruna and former Cross River governor, Liyel Imoke were onboard.
The PDP Presidential flight with No T17 AAA landed at airport 11:45am, with Alhaji Abubakar, former Kano State governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso and Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal on board.
The fifth aircraft; VQ-BRZ which landed 12:23pm had Senator Dino Melaye and the wife of the Senate President, Barr. Toyin Saraki while the last plane which landed around 1:00pm had the Plateau State Governor candidate, Gen (Rtd) Jeremiah Useni.
The aircraft conveying Alhaji Abubakar and his team was airborne at 6:16pm and other aircraft left one after the other.
