Clerics admonish politicians ahead 2019 elections

Christian clerics in Kwara State, have counselled Nigerian politicians against acts that could undermine peaceful electoral process before, during and after the 2019 general elections.
Prophet Peter Kolawole Williams of the C.A.C Faith Chapel along Asa-dam road, Ilorin has appealed to politicians to shun politics of bitterness.
Rather, he advised them to abide by their electioneering campaign promises to restore the faith the electorate have in democratic governance.
He gave the admonition in his sermon yesterday during service at the church.
Similarly, a Cleric, Pastor Segun James of Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Imole, Amoyo has urged politicians to play by the rules of the game for positive outcome of February elections.
He gave the charge during Sunday’s service, asking Nigerians to pray for the success of the forthcoming general election in the country.
Meanwhile, Christians have again been charged to look unto God for solution to all problems and predicaments.
A Cleric, Special Apostle Elijah Oladosu gave the charge yesterday in his sermon delivered at the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Ilorin District Headquarters.
Special Apostle Oladosu who spoke on the topic “All sufficient God,” expressed the belief that God is sufficient and able to meet the spiritual and material needs of believers.
The Cleric called on Christians to be faithful and worship God wholeheartedly at all times.
Speaking on the theme, “Dry Bones shall Rise Again” at the ongoing 30 days spiritual journey at Second ECWA, Shao, Reverend Joseph Agboluaje explained that all hope is not lost for anyone who believe in God as bad situation could still be turned to good with God in charge.
Reverend Agboluaje predicted good times for the nation, calling on the people to be steadfast.
Pastor Taiye Aransiola of the United Evangelical Miracle Church Off Yidi Road, Ilorin in his message titled “the warning bell” noted that when God speaks, He speaks the truth that determines what happens to our life, future, destiny, and eternity.
Pastor Aransiola called on Christians heed God’s warning to receive positive result and His blessings.
Prophet Peter Oladipo of the C & S Movement Church lpetu-lgbomina emphasised the need for Nigerians not to relent in praying fervently for continuous peaceful environment that would facilitate more development.
Pastor ldowu Constain of the New Life Holy Trinity Chapel Gaa-Akanbi, Ilorin admonished Christians to be their brother’s keeper by assisting the needy regardless of their religious background.
Pastor Aremu Abioye of the Ark of God Covenant Faith Bible Ministry, Amoyo while speaking at the on-going fifty days fasting and prayer of the Ministry cautioned faithfuls against evil acts that are not too good for a child of God and urged them to remain holy unto God always.
