Plans are Underway by the Kwara State volleyball Association to Organise Helbank Kwara state Inter Club Volleyball Championship and inter Local Government Volleyball Competition for Male and female Players in the State in April and August respectively.
This was the decision at the 2019 Maiden Meeting of the Association held at the Conference room of the Kwara state Sports Council On Thursday in Ilorin.
The Meeting which was chaired by the 1st Vice Chairman of the Association, Mallam Bola Yusuf unanimously agreed to embark on aggressive campaign and marketing to attract more sponsors and partners for their all year round events and programmes.
The Association which also projected for the coaches and referee Clinics later in the year expressed their readiness to also Stage first Beach Volleyball Championship in December to climax their activities in the Year.
The association has however implored the State Government to Support their lined up Programmes for the year through Provision of facilities, tools for the players and Coaching Crew as well as Sustenance of an enabling environment to achieve its Goals and Objective.
