A Facebook user, Tope Boyede, who lives in Akure, has alleged that his neighbour beat her two years old daughter to pulp with turning stick after she failed to count number 1-200.
The post reads in part, “This little girl of two and half years did not fall or hit by a motorcycle, but she was brutally beaten by her mother with orogun (stick for turning Amala or Garri)ย ย for not been able to count 1 to 200.
โThis happened in my compound and it has been occurring repeatedly and I can’t take it no more.
“…I want this woman to be dealt with for treating her daughter like this…โ
The Facebook user however urged any Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) who may be interested in prosecuting the woman to contact him.
