Saraki to address Kwara youths, Thursday

The Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki is billed to address youths from the four local government areas that make up Kwara Central senatorial district on Thursday.
The town hall meeting which is being organised by the Directorate of Youth Affairs, Mandate 2019 Campaign Organisation will hold 9am at the Banquet Hall, opposite Government House, Ilorin.
Saraki, who is representing Kwara Central Senatorial District in the upper chamber of the National Assembly will hold the special conversation with young people as part of his usual interaction with every sector of the society.
Addressing newsmen on the planned youth summit, the Director, Youth Affairs of the Mandate Campaign Organisation, Comrade Ben Duntoye noted that Saraki has over the years seen the youth as an integral part of his constituency and has always make himself accessible to them.
He said the town hall meeting will have different strata of youths in attendance, including representatives of voluntary youth associations, religious youth groups , students, community youth associations, youth with disabilities, young professionals, young artisans and political youth associations.
Duntoye enjoined youths residing within the four local government areas; Ilorin West, Ilorin East, Ilorin South and Asa that made up Kwara Central to apply to an open process of selection for the summit.
“This forum will create yet another opportunity for young people to interact with and ask questions from their Senator.
The event promises to be informative, educative and interactive,” he enthused.
