The Kwara State Government hereby denies and disclaims the unauthorized information circulating on social media, and bearing the state logo, which claims that the State Police Command will carry out raids from 8 pm on Thursday and Friday across the state. The State government is not aware of any such planned raid, neither has it authorized any announcement to that effect. Based on authentic information obtained from the State Police Command, therefore, members of the public are hereby advised to treat the post as fake news and to go about their normal, lawful business without fear of harassment or unlawful arrest.
