Enyimba winger Wasiu Alalade will again be wondering how luck seems to have deserted him after he suffered a calf injury and has now been ruled out of next month’s U-23 AFCON qualifier against Libya.
Only this month Alalade was dropped by the Flying Eagles from the U-20 AFCON in Niger even after he finished as top scorer for the team in the qualifiers with three goals.
The Ilorin-born forward suffered a calf injury in training with the U-23s in Abuja and officials said he will be sidelined for at least four months.
