The senator representing Kwara South, Dr. Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim has donated relief materials and cash to the victims of rainstorm that destroyed several property in Ajegunle village, Igboodun ward of Offa local government.
The lawmaker, who was briefed about the disaster through the PDP ward chairman of Igboodun ward, responded immediately to the request of the affected people.
Mr Abiodun Yusuf Adegoolu who is an aide to Senator Rafiu presented the relief materials and cash to the victims on behalf of the lawmaker. He said the materials would serve as a palliative measure for the people affected by the rainstorm.
Adegoolu emphasised Senator Rafiu remains committed to the welfare of his constituents despite losing his re-election bid, though through manipulation by the APC-led Federal Government.
He added that the lawmaker would continue to discharge his responsibilities diligently.
The whole community thanked the Kwara South Senator, Dr Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim for his responsiveness at all times and prayed to God almighty to continue his protection over the life of the lawmaker and his entire family.
