The Emir of Okuta, Alhaji Abubakar Idris Sero, has disclosed that he has never seen a simple, well respected and humble monarch like teh Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari
Alh. Idris Sero stated this while felicitating with the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Council on his 79th birthday celebration.
In a statement signed on Wednesday, Alhaji Idris disclosed that the Emir of Ilorin is highly revered and respected by all due to his visionary leadership styles and compassion for the growth and development of the state.
He further said: “I have never seen a simple, well respected and humble monarch like Alhaji Sulu-Gambari. He is always after the peace and progress of his people. I have so much regard for him because of his respect for others.”
The monarch however prayed Allah to grant the Emir of Ilorin and continuous peaceful reign on the throne and bless his new age.
Similarly, the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki in a tweet on Tuesday prayed for good health, continued grace and renewed strength for the Emir of Ilorin.
Saraki wrote via his twitter handle, “Happy 79th Birthday to the Emir of Ilorin, HRH Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari. As you celebrate another year sir, I pray that the Almighty Allah (SWT) continues to grant you good health, continued grace and renewed strength in all your endeavours.”
