The Federal Government is reportedly working out plan centred on “disengaging” over 200,000 beneficiaries of the governmentโs social intervention programme, N-Power.
President Buhari’s Senior Special Assistant on Social Investment, Maryam Uwais who disclosed this in an interview on Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) said they are currently brainstorming with the Ministry of Finance on the next move.
โWe are trying to see how we can address some of these gaps through these N-power beneficiaries that are meant to be disengaged by end of the year,โ Uwais said.
โWe are looking out loans to be made available to them, it has not be finalized yet with the finance ministry,โ she added.
