KWASU Centre for Entrepreneurship gets £10,000 grant

The Centre for Entrepreneurship, Kwara State University (KWASU) Malete, has been given a grant of £10,000 from the British Council.
The grant which is to support academia and industry collaboration at the Centre was presented by the Director, Mr. Sunday Ojo.
The British Council grant was won in collaboration with Covenant University, Nigeria and Wolverhampton University, United Kingdom.
It is a grant that works towards collaborative approaches to working with industry for Nigerian universities.
The Vice Chancellor of Kwara State University, Prof. AbdulRasheed N’Allah expressed his excitement describing it as another excellent award by the Centre by its award winning Director.
“I am very proud of the exceptional performance by the award winning centre and commendation to join forces with the industry in educating our students about the long term development that they have achieved.
“I also commended KWASU Centre for Entrepreneurship for collaborating with Nigeria’s Covenant University and Great Britain’s Wolverhampton University in its application for this grant,” Na’Allah said.
