Kwara indigenous contractors in APC suspends its President over misappropriation

The council of Elders Kwara Indigenous Contractors and Suppliers in APC, on Thursday, addressed the unacceptable leadership style of their suspended president, Alhaji Moshood Atanda Aigoro, over alleged misappropriation of funds and other fraudulent activities.
This was made known today during a press conference held at the Nigerian Union Of Journalist, NUJ, in Ilorin.
It was said that more than two years after the association was formed, it has no bank account, while adding that all contributions made by members have no records, saying the records are only known to him, his vice, Alhaja Bola Gerin Alimi and his secretary, Lukman Abimbola.
According to the council, Alhaji Aigoro extort money from members under false pretense to give them contract awards which have posed bad names to both the State Government and the organization.
The Council, however, restrained him of parading himself as President of the Association forthwith due to the accusations levied on him.
While congratulating the Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRaman AbdulRazaq on the award of the best Gov , recently conferred to him by Leadership Newspaper. Also noted that the general public should not transact any business on behalf of the association with any of the suspended members of the association, pending the time they are cleared of the allegations levelled against them.
