Your deeds will determine reward in Qiyaoma – Cleric tells Muslims

By Ahmed Ajikobi

The Imam of Sultanat mosque, Ustaz Sultan Kamaldeen has advised Muslim faithful to increase their good deeds, for greater rewards from Allah.
He stressed that the reward from Allah for good deeds is Aljanat firdaus.
Kamaldeen stated this at the Juma’at service on Friday during his sermon(Khutuba) before the two congregational rakats. He said that Muslims must not stop exhibiting all the good habits imbibed during Ramadan.
He noted that the Ramadan is meant for Muslims to fear Allah and relate well with others.
“God will order everyone who performed good deeds in the month of Ramadan to enter paradise with their relatives, wives, children that work in line with Allah’s commands.
“Allah asked Muslims to increase in fear of Him to gain more rewards. Some forget about the fear of Allah since the day they sighted moon for Sallah.
“It’s a pity for the person who knows Allah in the month of Ramadan and did good and forget Allah after Ramadan and returned back to their bad deeds.
“Some observe solat five times daily during Ramadan and desist from it after Ramadan. Some didn’t drink during Ramadan but went back to beer parlour immediately after Ramadan.”
Kamaldeen said further that in the month of Ramadan some Muslims do good deeds and get rewards from Allah and after the holy month turn to their previous bad acts.
He therefore charged Muslims to be steadfast in their worship of Allah and not return to their bad deeds after Ramadan in order not to incur the wrath of Allah.
