AFCON 2019 will determine my future, says Ighalo 

Super Eagles forward, Odion Ighalo said he may quit the Chinese Super League in the event that he performs well at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
He said his future relies on how well the Eagles perform in Egypt as he will choose his future after the challenge.
He included that however African football is extreme, “We need to continue progressing nicely. I am cheerful in the Chinese Super League after I joined my mentor at Watford yet damage backed me off. I will perceive how it goes in this competition and after that I will choose my future”.
In the interim, he revealed that his Chinese club are stuck in an unfortunate situation as respects to scoring in the class and need him once again from the Nations Cup.
As per Ighalo, who has scored three times at the AFCON in Egypt, the club need him back to support their odds in the class following his ongoing damage.
“My club realises my significance in getting objectives for them subsequently they even need me back quickly”, he stated, including that he was upbeat playing in the Chinese group after his very nearly 10 years playing in Europe in the English Premiership, the La Liga and the Italian association.

…we must remain focused after Cameroon win – Ighalo

Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo insisted that the Super Eagles must remain humble after dumping out defending champions, Cameroon, from the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Gernot Rohr’s men defeated their archrivals 3-2 in an entertaining encounter at the Alexandria Stadium on Saturday.
The result came as a big relieve for the players who were widely criticised for poor display in their last Group B game against Madagascar which they lost 2-0.
With countries like Egypt and Morocco, who were among the tournament’s title favourites now out, the Super Eagles look on course to win a fourth AFCON title.
Ighalo has however warned his teammates to stay strong and keep their focus as they head into the crucial stage of the competition.
“We have to keep working hard and stay humble. We are not favourites yet despite this win against Cameroon,” Ighalo who was voted Man of the Match said after the game.
“We have learnt a lot from the Madagascar defeat. We saw the Benin Republic against Morocco too. Nobody gave them a chance, but we all saw what happened at the end of the day.
“Our objective is to win the competition, but we have taken it one game at a time and keep pushing hard.”
